The project unites 4 partners with different competences and capacities within the HER system evaluation and implementation. Consolidating those competences in one common project the most effective result will be ensured.

Project Promoter – University of Latvia (UL) is the largest university in the Baltic States. At the UL, research is conducted in over 50 research fields. There are more than 100 doctoral students in management sciences including education management. UL researchers yearly take part in the approx. 900 projects, participate in about 1000 international conferences and publish over 700 publications in peer reviewed journals.

Partner No.1  – Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education (NIFU) is an independent social science research institute in Norway. NIFU aims to be a leading European research organization for studies of innovation, research and education at all levels. The institute undertakes research and analysis for a number of Norwegian, Nordic and international organizations. Main research areas: education; research and innovation; statistics and indicators.

No.2 –Riga Technical university (RTU) is higher education institution highly valued by Latvian employers and with the notable experience in internationally competitive high quality scientific research. One of RTU objectives is excellence in research and sustainable innovation. RTU has notable research capacity: 30 laboratories; 33 institutes; 103 departments and divisions; 435 researchers.

Partner No.3 – Stockholm School of Economics Riga (SSE Riga) is an international higher educational institution. SSE Riga participates in the EU-funded, regional and local research projects as well as runs research projects in cooperation with two research centres: the TeliaSonera Institute at SSE Riga and Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies. SSE Riga’s research main subjects: economics, education, entrepreneurship, creative industries, telecommunications information technology, and sustainable business.
